Problem:
In the device tree, the device shows the communication failed signal
Issue analysis:
Reason - PLC or HMI is off or it goes out of the network(LAN disconnected)
Steps to check the issue:-
1. Check the power supply of HMI or PLC (Red indication on front side)
2. Check LED indicator on LAN port (There were always blinking ).
3. Ping the HMI or PLC IP on command prompt with help of below command,
ping <IP address> -t
Example - ping 192.168.1.170 -t and press the enter button.
4. Check with your site network engineer if all the steps are ok.
