Testing DATCon at FM site 

DATCon will come pre-configured . 

Step:1 Check the internet connection prior to connecting DATCon in network.

Note: Due to network security in FM, the communication of DATCon and                    EnviroConnect server             is not possible and data can’t be uploaded on server.           So kindly create another        network for testing.

Step:2 Check the configuration on EnviroConnect before starting the test.

To check required configuration please follows below steps:

     Step:2a Check Protocol parameters

                 >Go to Site Admin menu > Go to device > Click on Modify.

Check the Protocol parameters (highlighted rectangle as below),

These values should be same as the analyser

     Step 2b. Check addresses in a variable

  1. Goto variable > Modify
  2. Check the Start Address and Data Type of the resisters to be read.

Once the above two things are checked,

  • Connect the DATCon to Analyser using the cable provided.
  • Power ON the DATCon
  • Connect Ethernet cable to DATCon

Analyser data should appear on the Dashboard of EnviroConnect Server.
